Civil. Mining. Agriculture. Road transport.

A haul truck can't drive itself to a workshop.

Neither can an excavator with its track chain off. So the workshop travels. SnapDog is a heavy diesel mechanic who works where the machine stopped: on the pad, in the pit, in the paddock or at the depot gate.

Trucks and trailers, earthmoving equipment, hydraulics and diagnostics. Done on site wherever the job allows, and planned carefully when a component has to go to a bench.

24/7 breakdown service

Night shift, public holiday, last week of seeding. A machine stops when it stops, so the line stays open all hours. Ring, tell us what it is doing and where it is sitting, and a mechanic heads your way with the tooling to diagnose and fix it on the spot.

The calls we get: won't start, lost drive, running hot, hydraulic line gone, track off.

Field service

Scheduled servicing at the machine's own site, so it is not booked into a queue and lost for days. Fluids and filters, belts and pulleys, greasing, and a proper look over the machine while we are under it.

On the job list: loaders, skid steers, excavators, trucks and the hydraulics that run them.

Minor and major repairs

A weeping gasket or a cylinder head. A hub overhaul or a differential out and stripped. We repair what is in front of us and tell you plainly what we found, whether the job takes an hour or a week.

Recent work: Hino head, Hydrema 922 differential, axle hubs, rocker gear, track undercarriage.

Site support

When a project or a fleet needs a mechanic on hand, we get to site and keep the machines working. Daily checks, repairs between shifts, and the small jobs fixed before they turn into big ones.

Built for: civil crews on a program, pits that run all hours, depots with trucks to turn around.

Who we keep running

A yellow Cat skid steer with its rubber track and undercarriage exposed beside it.

Excavators with tracks off, skid steers, rollers and wheel loaders on subdivisions, roads and pads. A civil crew runs to a program, so a machine down is a gang standing around. We come to the job and fix the diesel and hydraulic side where the machine sits.

Every call-out starts with this Land Cruiser. The canopy is fitted out with drawers and lockers, there are lights for night work, and the number is on the side so you can pick it out across a busy site.

Look for the bulldog. 0478 754 694 is on the canopy.

Before you ring

Do you really answer at night and on weekends?

Yes. The breakdown service runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If a machine has stopped, ring 0478 754 694.

How far will you travel?

Anywhere in Western Australia. Distance changes how we plan the trip, not whether we take the call. Tell us where the machine is sitting and we will tell you straight how long it takes to reach you.

What should I have ready when I call?

Make and model, what the machine is doing or not doing, and where it is. A pin or a landmark is perfect. If it is safe to approach, a photo by text helps us bring the right parts and tools.

Can you fix it on site?

That is the aim, and it is how most jobs are done. If a component has to go to a bench, we say so early and plan the quickest route back to a working machine.

Do you only do breakdowns?

No. Field servicing, minor and major repairs and site support are all part of the work. Scheduled servicing on your own site catches problems before they stop the job.

What equipment do you work on?

Trucks and trailers and earthmoving equipment, plus the loaders, tractors and farm trucks that keep agriculture moving. Diesel engines, drivelines, hydraulics and diagnostics are the core of the work.
